2013 Model Show - Exhibition and Competition
The St. John’s Chapter will be holding an open Plastic Model Exhibition and Competition on October 20, 2013, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM, at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Center on Prince Phillip Parkway in the Art Gallery on the second floor.
The Exhibition is open to the general public and we invite everyone to come to see the completed model kits. We also invite all local model builders to bring their kits to the Exhibition for public display, and if they wish, enter their kit(s) into the Competition.
There is no fee to visit the Exhibition or to display a model. For those wishing to enter the Competition, there be a $2.00 fee for each plastic model registered. Registration will be at the Welcome Desk in the display area on the day of the Exhibition and Competition. Registration ends at 1:30PM.
Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Honorable Mention and People’s Choice. Certificates will be awarded in individual categories such as, but not limited to, Aircraft, Automobiles, Ships, Sci-Fi, and Military.
