Colin and Tyler, the two young guys, were back again tonight to show us new builds. Those paint jobs keep getting better guys. Thanks for showing us guys. I am getting hints and tips from them. I am starting my first car in 40 years!
Steve F gave a small demo on a foot operated compressor and a basic air gun. Sorry, never got any photos of it.
Rod, brought in a few things old and new.
The classic Sherman kit from Monogram, the one that Shep Paine did as a diorama, and the first Armor kit I ever built (in 1976). The M4A1 Screaming Mimi.
Also Rod brought in a previous build, the KC-1 in winter camo.
And my favorite, the 737 Eastern Provincial Airlines (EPA).
Rod also brought in a future build, a B-26 Marauder to be done as “Times A’Wastin”. This aircraft crashed on a transatlantic flight from England on its way to Eastern US. It is a fantastic story of the crew surviving the crash but over the course of a couple of months, perished in the northern Labrador winter.

We anxiously await Rods build of this aircraft.
Also a shot of his upcoming Egg Ship – Fujumi IJN Akagi
Dave ME109 Afrika
This is Dave’s recently finish Desert Aftika Korps ME 109 Dio. Nice use of wool for the trailing dust! Excellent job Dave! Nice Finish! Beautifully weathered!
Rodney Truck 6X6 Redball Express/ Russian BM-21 Grad. Rodney certainly made good progress and finished a fine 2 ½ ton cargo truck from the Red Ball Express! Beautiful weathering and a very nice tissue tarp over the back!
The Grad is coming along nice as well. I have seen the base coat, looking good Rodney!
See you next month!
