About the club

We are a group of people who enjoy the hobby of plastic model building. Our members interests range from Aircraft, Automobiles, Ships, Figures, Armour, to Sci Fi. We have all skill levels from beginners to some pretty talented modellers, but we mainly meet to share our work, ideas, tips and techniques, and talk about modelling in general. Meeting Summary March 1, 2016

See associated Album for this meeting on Facebook

In attendance tonight

Steve F, Steve R, Rob, Chris J, Mike, Gary, Dave, Gord, Mark, Dennis and Joe.

Chris J has competed his Jagdpanzer. This is a recent Tamiya release (2014). You can see it in the latest Military Modelcraft International. Chris continues to be a world class talent. Also in progress, American M60A1 Super Patton Tank.

Gary Is making headway with his Trabant. You may remember this vehicle as the ubiquitous vehicle of Eastern Block countries mostly East Germany, in the Cold War era. 3,096,099 Trabants were produced in tota in over 30 years, with almost no significant changes. Much like the VW Bug I imagine, only not as good.

Dave is an accomplished figure and kit modeler. Here is two examples of his figures and a Diorama of an FW189 with a SdKfz 251 as a tug tow. Fantastic work.

Steve F brought in his 1/32 Sopwith Camel, 1911 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, 1905 Rolls Royce, 1927 Red Rolls Royce DeBeers.

Dennis in brought in another R/C flier, this time it is a box of wood that will someday turn into a 1913 Taube R/C.

See you next month!!
Keep Building!
