About the club

We are a group of people who enjoy the hobby of plastic model building. Our members interests range from Aircraft, Automobiles, Ships, Figures, Armour, to Sci Fi. We have all skill levels from beginners to some pretty talented modellers, but we mainly meet to share our work, ideas, tips and techniques, and talk about modelling in general. Colin - 2017 Camaro – this build was a kit he won as a prize at out October Show. Very nice paint job, the best one I have ever seen from a rattle can. Very smooth!

Chris J – Turkish Leopard 2A4/Panther D – Great to see Chris again. He brought along two fabulous projects from the same Tank Cat family, separated by decades - the WWII Panther and Modern Leopard II. You may know Chris from his world class builds, being published in many model magazines world wide. The Turkish Leopard is on the cover of one of the latest issues of Abrams Squad.

Gord – Gord is continuously practicing his finishing on his T34. This one was recently dipped and restarted. Looking good Gordo!

Rod C – Rod brought in two recently finished builds, his Trumpeter Russian Typhoon, and Italeri 105mm Howitzer. Great work Rod!

Steve R – Steve now has all the parts to build his beast – The Canadian Leopard I. He is building to match the Leo he drove when he was with the Royal Canadian Dragoon (RCD) in the Cold War.

Steve F – Steve was inspired by John Kelloway’s Lancaster that received best in show in the October competition, to bring in his own version of the Lancaster from 404 Sdn RCAF. He also brought in a 410 Sdn Vampire, A Canadair Sabre Mk II from 414 Sdn RCAF, and aH03 Helicopter from 103 SAR Sdn.

New member Mitch brought in his in progress F4F wildcat, looking good so far Mitch!

Cory has a diverse taste in kits, and has a large collection of gamer pieces. He brought in some of his gaming figures. Very nicely painted, and as you would expect for gaming, also a durable paint job. 😉

And I brought in my in progress Panther F – a very late war version of the Panther tank with a smaller turret and bigger gun. I show it side by side compared to Chris J Panther D.

See you in 2018!

Keep Building!!!!
